About Luxafel Ragdolls

Hello, I’m Susan, a registered Ragdoll breeder with The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy Victoria (GCCFV) and the proud heart behind Luxafel Ragdolls.

My breeding journey began in 2018 with my first breeding queen, Cookie, whose loving nature inspired the foundation of my small, family-based cattery in South-East Melbourne. From the very beginning, my goal has been simple — to raise healthy, well-tempered, and affectionate pedigree Ragdoll kittens who embody the true beauty and personality of this remarkable breed. 💕

 

 

🐾 Our Breeding Philosophy

At Luxafel, my cats are pets first and breeders second. I am devoted to ethical breeding practices, focusing on temperament, conformation, and overall well-being — always prioritising quality over quantity. My queens enjoy long, healthy breaks between litters to ensure they remain in peak condition and fully ready to raise their babies with love. Each kitten is raised cage-free inside my clean, family home, where they receive constant socialisation and affection. From their very first moments, I’m there to guide and nurture them — midwife, caretaker, and doting mum all in one! Once the kittens are around 6 weeks old and confidently litter trained, they join us throughout the home to experience daily life, play, and cuddles. This ensures they leave here confident, well-adjusted, and ready to bond with their forever families.

My studs live in purpose-built, spacious outdoor enclosures, with regular access to our fully enclosed, secure garden — giving them the freedom and enrichment they deserve.

Every kitten receives exceptional vet care, premium nutrition, and leaves with a generous kitten pack, health records, and my lifelong breeder support. I’m always just a message away for advice, updates, or simply sharing in your kitten’s milestones.

Patience is important when choosing your new family member. I may not always have the exact kitten you’re after right away — but all good things are worth waiting for. I breed only a small number of litters each year, and each kitten is a true labour of love.
