Scratching Posts, what should I buy?

When looking for scratching posts for your kitten or cat, it's best to buy a god quality one from the start. Ragdolls are a large breed cat, even kittens, and if they jump all over the lightweight cheapies, they can easily topple over, risking injuring. Look for scratching posts with large solid bases that can't be easily tipped over, preferably with carpet and sisal rope, cats love to claw rope.
